How does someone become a home healthcare patient?

Home health care is determined under the direct supervision of the patient’s Primary Care Physician (PCP). If your PCP determines you need home healthcare, then your PCP will recommend a home health care agency. However, every patient has the right to choose their home healthcare agency (Patient Bill of Rights).

 

 

What type of healthcare can be provided at home?

Many medical conditions that previously required hospitalization can safely be treated at home.
